”Junk silver”, like these Roosevelt Dimes, has been an optimal way to add silver and history to your portfolio of precious metals. These $5 FV 90% Roosevelt Dimes offer you a count of 50 dimes which contain in total 3.575 ounces of silver.
Each of these dimes does have a face value of $0.10, with a combined face value of $5 for these 50 coins. Their face values, however, are not indicative of their true value, as the silver price is much greater than the values given to these dimes when they were minted before 1965.
The Roosevelt dime entered the market in 1946 after it was commissioned in 1945, which would have been the year of the 46th birthday of President Roosevelt. They were minted by the U.S. Mint for circulation until 1965, when all U.S. 90% silver coins were discontinued.
The design of these Roosevelt Dimes are very similar to that of the current US circulation dimes. The obverse features the side profile of Franklin Roosevelt with “IN GOD WE TRUST” to his bottom left and “LIBERTY” next to his face on his left. The year that the dime was minted in will be featured to his bottom right (1946-1964).
The reverse features an olive branch, a torch, and an oak branch in the center of the design along with the words “E PLURIBUS UNUM” minted between them. The words “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA” is minted above the design and “ONE DIME” is minted below.
Order these $5 Face Value set of 90% Roosevelt Silver Dimes and add silver to your portfolios of precious metals at a comparatively low cost. While the year these coins were minted in may differ, we ensure that you will only receive authentic 90% Silver Roosevelt Dimes.
