Riley Obverse Design: Official NENA emblem Reverse Design: 34TH CONFERENCE AND CONVENTION / CRANSTON, RI 1978 / Depicted in the field, ROOSTER AND ANCHOR Manufacturer: The Robbins Company - Attleboro, MA Notes: Gold filled has edge incuse “1/5-10K r,” Sterling has edge incuse “r STERLING.” Sterling uniface (78-1d) were used for presentation to directors ending their term. Bronze uniface (78-1f) were engraved, mintage unknown. The cost of the Gold Filled medal (78-1a) was $32.64, but were sold for only $35.00. This is likely the smallest margin of any NENA medal sold (as of 1994).1978
